Leadership Is for Everyone
Leadership is not reserved for a select few—it’s a skill that can and should be cultivated across an organization. However, traditional leadership development programs often focus on just a small group of individuals. Our mission is to change that.
At CEL, we believe leadership spans every level of an organization. That’s why our Peer Leadership Development Circle (PLDC) program is designed to provide leadership development opportunities for anyone who wants to grow and make an impact.
The PLDC program brings together small groups of 6 to 8 participants in an action-learning circle facilitated by a trained professional. Participants are matched with peers at similar levels of workplace experience to ensure meaningful connections and shared understanding.
The program runs for 6 months, with weekly 90-minute meetings for a total of 36 hours. Throughout the program, each participant works on a personal leadership challenge or case, receiving guidance and support from their peers.

Complete this form to be matched with professionals that have similar levels of experience
After submitting your application, you’ll be matched with a group of peers who share similar workplace experiences. Meetings can take place either in person or over Zoom, depending on your preference.
During your first session, you’ll get to know your group members and learn the basics of peer coaching. In subsequent meetings, you’ll build a personalized change map, outlining a specific challenge or goal you want to tackle.
Once your change map is complete, the focus of the group meetings will shift. Each session will highlight one member’s progress, using a case clinic method to provide structured feedback, insights, and collaborative problem-solving.
By the end of the program, you’ll have made measurable progress on your personal leadership challenge while also supporting the growth of your peers.
Cost: $2,000 per participant
For participants in Maine, up to 50% of program costs may be covered through the Maine Workforce Development Compact grant. [Learn more about the grant here].
